Explore Career Opportunities in the Health Field

Free (& Fascinating) Laboratory Tours at USF Health!

Undergraduate students are invited to learn about the fantastic career opportunities in environmental and occupational health:

• You can meet our graduate students and participate in tours of specialized research labs at
the Colleges of Public Health, Nursing, and Medicine!
• During the tours, you will learn how sophisticated laboratory equipment is used to study
current environmental and occupational health issues, using novel research methods.
• You can learn about graduate programs in environmental and occupational health at the
College of Public Health (NOTE: Funding for students is available!)
• You can learn about the many types of well paying jobs available to new
• graduates with degrees in environmental and occupational health.
• You can even receive educational materials and ‘prizes’ for participation!

We will have group tours and information sessions on Fridays, from 2-4 pm, in the fall, winter and spring. Our dates for the spring term 2011 include:
January 28th, 2011; and April 8th, 2011.

To preregister for one of these tours, or to schedule a special tour for your group at another date, please contact Ellen Kent, MPH at ekent@health.usf.edu, 813-974-6622, and she will be happy to help you!
