Volunteer Opportunity - Medical Interpreters Needed

Judeo Christian is a free Clinic located at  120 ½ N. MacDill Avenue, Tampa FL 33607

Here, USF medical students and physicians provide healthcare to patients that could not afford a visit to the doctor.

Because most of our patients are immigrants, our staff frequently needs help from bilingual interpreters (Spanish, if you speak French/Creole there may be a PRN opportunity for you).

If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions about JCHC, please contact Daniela Aguirre, Interpreter Coordinator, via e-mail.

This is a great learning opportunity if you plan on going into the healthcare field. Even if you are a non-medical major, this is a fun volunteering experience.

A link to a flyer for their free medical interpreting course is below.   Although it is mandatory to attend the course, you do not need to attend the session on June 9 to become a volunteer.

The times that the clinic is most in need of volunteers is Mondays and Wednesdays from 1-5pm and some Wednesdays from 5-9pm.

Here is the website to the Clinic if you want more information!
